Gallows Bridge starts reaping rewards of being watched.......
At Gallows Bridge BBOWT reserve on Saturday, 3 GREY PLOVER, 21 WHIMBREL, 3 COMMON GREENSHANK, 4 Ringed Plover and 2 DUNLIN were seen, the GREY PLOVERS still being present on Sunday.

TURTLE DOVE at Calvert
With the wind dropping and feeling warmer fancied finding a few migrants but still hard work!! Still think lots still to come including the commoner species.
Quainton Hills; base of North slopes- 1 Grey Partridge on roadside, never seen one here before.
Calvert; Greeted by lovely sound of a European Turtle Dove purring on the BBOWT reserve/ 16 Common Terns on rafts/ pair of Gadwall/ Cuckoo
Hillesden; Cuckoo + usual suspects.
Quainton Hills; base of South slopes- 1 Wheatear spotted high up on ridge (Tim Watts)
